Mugic:
1x Anthem of Stone
1x Refrain of Denial (OW/UW)
1x Song of surprisal (just because they are really usefull)
1x Notes of Neverwhere (against Lore chamber)
2x Canon of Casualty (you will know why later)
Location:
2x The Cliffs
2x Stronghold Morn
2x Mt. Pillar Reservoir (original)
2x The Skeletal Spring
2x Brawler Burrow
Attack:
1x Supercooled Rain
1x Rainspear
2x Traditionnalist Charge
2x Synaptic Acceleration
2x Flood Force
2x Mineral Mayhem (against bloot)
2x Rustoxic
2x Unarmed Brawl Bash
2x Inner Flood (Now for the Canons, put mugic counter from your fallen creature to Stelgar)
2x Afternath Feint (of course)
2x Shadow Strike
Now all you need to know to be good with this deck is that the more longer the game is the best Stelgar will be. I think in a game Stelgar can reach: 170 to all disciplines and 130 energy + the element of water which is really usefull and have an help from Orbaat that give you an advantage for your location and maybe some mugic. So if you prepare the game with all the afternath feint, orb of foresight for attack and Orbaat for location you have a lot of things to make your Stelgar win every combat. Now i want you to rate my army with the choice on the right.
Hm, it could work, but playing with only one fighter is really dangerous. If an opponent had a Range and Swifter that could reach Stelgar, as well as some Battlegear destruction (I know you got Refrain, but many play with cards like Cadence Clash nowadays), your whole strategy is pretty much gone. Also, if a player saw the layout of your team, they'll immediately go for Stelgar, and even if Makanaz does intercept the attack, he isn't too likely to win, and then you'll have to use another one of your composters to fight the "invader", which you also won't likely win. At that point, I guess you'll have to rely on saving good attacks for Stelgar like Supercooled Rain, but that may not be enough, especially if facing Mipedians, now with 2 ways (therefore 4 Mugics) of dealing with attacks.
ReplyDeleteI can honestly tell you that when looking at this army I know exactly who I code asap. Its a flaw with the design for any UW player... I'd just use a simple cannon of casualty on stelgar and he's gonzo :P It is very nice though for going up agianst OW decks ...
ReplyDeleteOh, and if you want your eggs to hatch, I suggest going onto the Dragon Cave Website - it helped me out alot ;)
IF you don't mind me saying you should try to get your hands on Lomma (The new one) and Ulmar's Projector. Lomma can defend Stelgar and when she dies she can come back due to the effect of Ulmar's Projector and protect him again! Just a suggestion.
ReplyDeletefirst of all, thanks for all this comments :D
ReplyDeleteAnd yes i know there's a lot of lack in this deck but this one was just a quick one for fun and i'll try to get one more competitive the next time. And when you post a comment, except if you really dont want to but write your chaotic name just to know who made the comment
Oh and thanks for the info in the eggs
ReplyDeleteok I kind of like the deck but that deck is mainly for AA...I would know I came up with it awhile back and I even played Zwolya with it and got Stelgar up to 190 energy and over 200 in Dis. If you want to run Stelgar in Masters then you HAVE to have one creature in you army...that creature is Porthyn. He is the creature that says "all no attack damage dealt to target creature is dealt to Porthyn instead" plus he has 60 energy and if you put a Husk Armor on him and flip it then he can 110 energy for someone to try and burn through. Even Hikeda's Burn deack would have trouble with that.
